The Importance of water to the human body

Forcing the body to function without enough water can be a severe issue for the human body and one's progeny. It becomes a disease by itself that will make changes within one's cell and pass it on to others.

The body rejuvenates itself through energy, depending mainly on water, and since the body is forced to function without water, it loses its strength to defend itself from diseases. Hence, it affects the brain's health and decline of memory, leading to significant mental disorders that lead to negative thoughts. Most of such negative thoughts lead to anger, violence that triggers the animalistic quality, which can have drastic effects on the community and society that they are living in.

The power of the human body and mind largely depends on ones thinking capabilities. Lack of water prevents higher thinking, which is the core of human behavior. When this core is broken, one picks up the idea of 'Survival of the Fittest,' which deals with human violence and loses the human quality in a person.

One must maintain the body's health, strength, and fitness to develop moral discipline, serene and robust human character. These qualities have their value for life in general.

The human body is in a constant transformation to reach higher potentialities. It is the past evolution of the body and its animal nature that seems to stand in the way of human development. The physical base as a healthy body is the way to develop human thinking. The body's material tissues, flesh, and substance can only grow through proper food and water intake. Food and water transform into different parts of the body, and the subtle essence of food is the mind. If the mind is not allowed to be evolved, one will waste a human birth with its most precise human body with its powerful brain capabilities. Each human body is a gift; it must be served with its basic requirements to help us with its capabilities.

It took the evolution millions of years before it transformed into a human body. In the process of this perfection, the body holds within it higher possibilities that can be expressed as intelligence and energy to fight through life and its challenges, including disease and mental disturbance. One can only awaken this higher hidden possibility with a human body with its essential water and food requirements.

For children to receive even the basic education, their minds must be conducive to comprehending the lessons. Still, due to the lack of energy and concentration, the child cannot understand the teachings; thus, the community is at a total standstill, unable to move along with the world's development. They will be forced to be left behind as mysterious people by the more developed world.

The longer one lives in this condition of forced to live with a lack of water and food; there can be a possibility of extinction of this community, who are brothers and sisters of the Human Race.

Let us do all we can to bring water and food for our fellow brothers and sisters in Kenya.

Water scarcity in West Pokot

This is the seasonal river where the Kalam school children fetch water downstream 2km away from school for cooking and consumption. The very place where people bathe, animals drink and drop dungs, but, the water still is used to quench thirst.
While water is a human issue, sadly in West Pokot and in many parts of the developing world, it is a Women’s issue.

State of Education in West Pokot

The development of the community can come through a proper educational system to make decisions and changes about their farms, village, create new agricultural tools, changes in their lifestyles. They will also realize the necessity of schooling itself.
They can have a better understanding of their duties and rights. They can learn about basic laws to protect them from various abuses or any kind of violence.
