The term Yoga means Union. Union with the Self Perfecting Force found
within every human being. The perfection of the body is the
fundamental perfection that everyone should strive towards, as this is
the tool that we use for everything we do.
Perfection is the true aim of all cultures. If one is trying to
perfect life, one must give the utmost importance to the physical part
of it, for the body is the material basis; therefore, the body is the
instrument that one has to use. Aligning the body towards its higher
power and self-intelligence is the way to maintain a healthy and
serene living.
Hatha Yoga is a branch of Yoga mainly concentrating on the mastery of
the body. Hatha means force/energy. The body has its higher power that
needs to be awakened to function through the human body to rejuvenate
and correct itself. In the process, cleansing and healings happens to
the body with the indwelling power of its native capabilities.
The practices involve the alignment of breath, body, and mind.
Stretching the body to a particular posture and resonating with one's
breath can remove unwanted energy blocks. These energy blocks are the
cause that weakens the immune system and other autonomic biological
functions. A smooth flow of Force/Energy creates balance in energy,
which is much needed for emotional health.
Among the natural qualities and powers of the body, which can thus
awaken through Yoga gives stability in all kinds of actions, combat
diseases, power of endurance, an extraordinary energy response from
the body that the external factors can demand.
There are many movements that the body needs that we are not allowing
for its smooth operation. The systematic practice of Yoga allows all
such activities to operate automatically and faultlessly. One must
train this movement with a rhythm of breath, and Yoga is the tool. The
structured combination of body postures and breathing develops
structural changes in the brain that help process one's emotions,
stress, and anxiety.
The body can reach its heights of power to bring Cosmic Energy into
the body when balanced. Through proper body posture, one can open to
the Cosmic Energy for every cell in the body to carry light, which is
the best way to have a complete immune system against diseases. The
body will reach its higher capabilities to repair the intrinsic
matter, tissues, and muscles.
Yoga is a self-preparatory program to keep the body ready and fit at
any time that can defend itself from an unknown or sudden outburst of
diseases. Equipping the body towards its complete perfection and
potentialities through a progressive physical discipline is Yoga.
Therefore it is the way to live a happier and healthier life for every
walk of life.

I'm an educator by experience. I bring this knowledge and skills to develop yoga pedagogy which is tailor-made to suit the needs of the yoga seekers. Through my years as an independent homeschooler, I have considerable experience working especially with children of all ages, inclusive of kids with autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, dysgraphia, anxiety disorder and aspergers. I'm also a research scholar currently carrying out research to identify the salient benefits of yoga as a therapy tool for special needs children.
